THINGS FELT / TSI
Felt From Faraway by Phillip Oskar Augustine
This is one of the songs I played at TSI, on the Fourth. All the songs I played were new songs - all acoustic, and this is the only one I played that has actually been recorded (and likely ever will). It's kind of a long ballad and may require some patience :) All analog recorded to tape. Thanks to master sculptorita and painter Devin Balara for taking this picture and to Josh for letting me borrow sum drums. Enjoi, peeeace!

WISHES WORST FEARS
Me:
Die Collegehaus:
Wishes Worst Fears:
This was for my friend Judy's "Wishes, Worst Fears" birthday party/art show. Very fun and was done at her house on College Street. It's okay if you don't "get it"...I'm not sure I do either...sometimes my hands go running. And once again, we can see that my scanner is doing great things, at the bottom here!

P.O.A. - BARBARA ANN (Beach Boys cover)
Barbara Ann by Phillip Oskar Augustine
So, I was listening to Spirit of America the other day and got Beach Boys fever. This is ALL ANALOG on an 8-track tape recorder, which I bounced into the computer. All first takes. The lyrics in the second verse I kinda started making up because I forgot them, ha. That Barbara Ann was so hot! Enjoi.

HELPMOUNTAIN!!! (THEREISNOPEAK)
This is a little collab Devin, and I did. My friend Jewelian may have worked a few lines in as well, at some point. I think these would be nice to print and put up around the city. Welcome to Helpmountain (where people cannot eat you)! It's ink and pastel on cardboard.
NOT MINE
Jacksonville, FL:
I pass this every day coming back from school (it's downtown off of State St. area) , and I think it's so awesome. The drawn out parts are actually made of wood. I love stuff like this...my friend Jason, loaned me The Devil and Daniel Johnston to watch recently, and they made a pretty rad heart out of cassette tapes. I may try something like this, sometime. SWEET!

NO ARMS FOR ME, NO ARMS FOR YOU.
This is 18x24. Ink and watercolor on illustration bored. It was a little awkward and large for me to attempt scanning...so forgive the "picture" and the flash in the center that washes out the colors, ha!

MAYBE, MAYBE NOT, MAYBE WHO CARES?
This is Howie Dye, and this...was fun. Although, there is actually little to no white space on this, and the colors are much more bright...but scanners always be fkn wit mi steez. Also, come check out the "Are Your Friends Electric" art show, at Square One (San Marco) this coming Wednesday night. I'll have a bunch of my things in there, along with my buddy Julian Bos, and some other artists from around town.
