The top drawing turned out to be kind of a bummer. I did a light ink wash over the top of the paper and basically lost/smeared/smudged every and all detail...definitely a learning experience. Also, I realized that this was the first time, I had ever actually drawn myself, ha!

Check out some recent POA blog press from Head Underwater, aka Jimmy Morris here. I love that tumblr and he always has some cool new stuff to check out, never in overwhelming amounts. Also, keep an eye out for Coma Cinema's digital and cassette release on Arcade Sound Ltd. June 1st, (AND a POA remix), as well as a Memoryhouse release on the new radness, Inflated Records.

On another note, I'm taking some time to record and work for a while. I'm finishing up a side project that I've been working on called Cool Lesbians, as well as recording local friends After the Bomb Baby. Music is coming. Have good Summer days. :) Love, -Tyler

This is sweet pal, Davey Jones aka "Lost Boy?" from Brooklyn. His songs are epic//genius and you should check out his Taste Butter EP here...if you ain't stupid!!! (AND it's even FREE). I've been jamming on this non-stop for a couple months now, due to it's awesomeness. It's likely there will be some POA/Coma Cinema/Lost Boy? show dates (tentatively) in BK ova tha Summa time. And here's one of his cool videos too:
